SPRAIA isn't an app that simply copies content found on the Internet. Our artificial intelligence is trained on strictly botanical data (scientific publications, digital herbaria, validated field observations) — not on forums or general blogs.
Our algorithms cross-check the visual identification of a plant with its care sheet in real time: if a species is misclassified, the inconsistency surfaces. We regularly test our AI on blind benchmarks (Pl@ntNet observations, GBIF) to measure real accuracy, and we publish these results internally for continuous improvement.
On the human side, every pillar guide (Monstera, Calathea, Pilea, beginner plants…) is written based on citable scientific sources and the practical experience of plant parents who have grown these species for years. We never publish a recommendation without long-term testing.
We believe a good plant AI does not replace expertise — it makes it accessible. That is why SPRAIA will always blend performant algorithms with proven know-how.
