Every article and plant fact sheet published on SPRAIA follows a rigorous editorial process. Our goal: give you reliable, verified and useful information — not assembly-line content.
We systematically cross-reference several authoritative scientific sources: Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew), Missouri Botanical Garden, Royal Horticultural Society, plus the GBIF database (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) for Latin names and classification.
Our identification model (trained on over 30,000 species) checks consistency between nomenclature, care sheet and images used. Any disagreement between human sources and the AI is manually reviewed.
